“Out like a fat kid in dodgeball”

The game of dodgeball requires players to dodge a ball thrown at them. A fat, immobile person would be a large target to get hit with the ball and be out of the game.

“Out like a fat kid n dodgeball” is a saying that means that someone or something is a sure out. “I’m out like a fat girl in dodgeball” and “I am out like a fat chick in dodgeball” were both cited in print in November 2000.
