Only in New York
The New York Times has published a book collection of its FYI columns titled Only in New York (2004). A big red apple is on the cover of the book, but "the Big Apple" is never answered in it.
New York Post gossip columnist Cindy Adams frequently ends her columns with "Only in New York, kids, only in New York." She didn't coin it.

This was originally about racism. It had the following chorus: "Only in America, Land of opportunity, Can they save a seat in the back of the bus just for me. Only in America, Where they preach the Golden Rule, Will they start to march when my kids go to school." The Drifters recorded the new "patriotic" lyrics, but refused to release it because they did not believe that message. (thanks, Brad Wind - Miami, FL, for above
