Greene is a three-time World Champion and has clocked three of the fastest four times in the 100-meter and is looking to cement his legacy as possibly the best male sprinter of all-time. Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang hopes to continue the momentum generated from his 110-meter hurdles world-record tying Olympic gold medal performance in Athens. Campbell took home three medals in Athens, including gold in the 200-meter and 4x100-meter relay and bronze in the 100-meter. One of the featured events will be a showdown between Alan Webb, America's top miler in 2004, and David Krummenacker, the only American World Championship gold medalist at 800m in history. They will split the difference of their respective specialties and race in the 1000-meter.
The men's sprinter field at the Reebok Grand Prix has grown to include future stars Leonard Scott and Dwight Thomas, while 2004 Olympic champion Joanna Hayes, two-time Olympic bronze medalist Melissa Morrison and 2001 World Champion Anjanette Kirkland headline the women's 100-meter hurdles field. Four-time shot-put World Champion and two-time Olympic medalist John Godina will put his skills on display and will face off against two-time Olympic silver medalist Adam Nelson.
