“Nobody sees the struggle (before/behind success)” is a popular saying. Nobody sees the effort to work out and eat healthy, for example—people just see the results. There are two versions of a joke on this saying.

Because I don’t do any of that” was posted on X/Twitter by Cockney Cabbie on May 16, 2016, and this received over 1,300 likes. “Nobody sees the 5am runs. Nobody sees me choosing a salad over fries.
