“My kid got your honor student pregnant” (bumper sticker)
Many automobile bumper stickers declare that a driver’s child has made a school’s honor roll. “My kid got your honor(s) student pregnant” is a jocular bumper sticker reply. “My kid got your honor student pregnant” has been cited in print since at least 1994 and is of unknown authorship.
Similar bumper stickers include “My kid beat up your honor student” and “Your child may be an honor student, but you’re still an idiot.” “My kid is an honor student & my president is an idiot” was a bumper sticker in the 2000s, during the presidency of George W. Bush.

One bumper sticker I thought/think is funny:
My kid beat up your honor student.
(I first saw this one on f the back of a beat up old chevy, driven by olderwoman with a cigarette hanging from her mouth).

Or “My child just got your honor student pregnant.” What are they saying about themselves? What are they telling their children?

WTF Sears???
The softer side of Sears proves not to be so soft in their sick humor department. You’ve seen the bumper stickers: “My child’s an honor student,” and the not-so-nice responses about what my kid could do to your honor student. But retail giant Sears seems to have found a new low in those insults—on mouse pads. As part of the Sears “back to school collection” available online, Sears was selling mouse pads for $5.99 saying things like: “I molested your honor student” and “I got your honor student pregnant.”

Being Smart Is Not A Virtue
My favorite radio guru (yes, I’m this juvenile) and Jewish thinker Dennis Prager gives an enlightened diatribe against “My Child Is An Honor Student…” bumper stickers. Of all things!
(...)
His argument is threefold: first, bragging is in poor form. Next, to emphasize academic accomplishments so exclusively is to elevate certain children over their peers, and even their own siblings. This creates resentment and sadness more than incentive. Third, Prager bluntly summarizes, “I don’t care if your kid makes a 4.0 in school. I care if he’s nice to the fat kid.” I would add that much academic boasting has more to do with parents displaying their own achievements—- and schools promoting their name, or as a friend once put it, “kids as pets”.
