“LinkedOut. A social network for the unemployed”

LinkedIn is an American business and employment-oriented social networking service website. THere is no LinkedOut for unemployed or retired people, but there are jokes.
 
“In these rough economic times we need LinkedOut: a service that helps unemployed people set up weekday pool parties & glue huffing contests” was posted on X/Twitter by Mike Devine on July 12, 2011. “LinkedOut. A social network for the unemployed” was posted on X/Twitter  by ശരത് on April 16, 2012. “LinkedOut - social networking for the unemployed” was posted on X/Twitter by Strong Rushmore on January 31, 2013.
 
“I’m inventing a website for unemployed people called linkedout” was posted on X/Twitter by ugh on November 20, 2025, and it received over 135,000 likes.
