Leftosphere (left blogosphere)

The “lefttosphere” is the “left blogosphere,” containing blogs of the political left. The term “leftosphere” has been in print since at least March 2006. A similar term—using Latin—is “sinistrosphere” (since July 2005).

The opposite of leftosphere/sinistrosphere is “rightosphere” (since May 2005) or “dextrosphere” (since April 2005).

I know quite a few [marines in the] USMC, my kid was in Iraq. To the man,[sic] none of them fit the “clueless” stereotype that is propogated[sic] by the leftosphere.

Sure, you mention some of the good things to come out of the leftosphere - what’s the most recent “good” thing they have done? Hmm? All you mention is ancient history.

1. The Leftosphere jumped all over the apparent lie.
2. The Rightosphere pointed out that “two other teams that initially inspected the trailers” dissented from that view, which means the issue wasn’t quite as open and shut as the Post story would seem to indicate.

Do not miss this bit by Stephen Spruiell (check the background link too) on FireDog’s “shoot first, fact-check later” mode of blogging. The left-o-sphere has been stinking up the blog-o-sphere in general. Not a good prospect in my opinion.

And, Henke adds, “since the ‘macaca’ interpretation was consistent with the narrative that the Leftosphere had worked to develop over a long period, it was easier for the Leftosphere to frame it as they did.
