“Just trying to find the YEE to my HAW, and I keep finding the HELL to my NAW” is a jocular saying that has been printe on many images. “Just trying to find the yee to my haw, and I keep finding the hell to my naw” was posted on Facebook by Veronica Cromwell on January 21, 2021, and the saying became popular for Valentine’s Day about three weeks later.

“Are you the man who can put the YEE in my HAW?” was posted in a persona ad in The Dispatch and The Rock Island Argus (Moline, IL) on October 10, 1997. “@EmWatson you’re like the yee to my haw! #BecauseTexas” was posted on Twitter by GЯΔΠT on November 4, 2012. “I’m just trynna find the yee to my haw” was posted on Twitter by soph on February 16, 2018.

“I asked my sister if she would be the ‘yee’ to my ‘haw’ and she gonna say you can be the ‘hell’ to my ‘naw’” was posted on Twitter by ⟬⟭ To the Grammys Bitch ⁷8⟭⟬ on May 22, 2019. “Just want the yee to my haw, but y’all just a hell to my nah” was posted on Twitter by Raul on June 23, 2020. “She wanna be the YEE to my Haw but really she the Hell to the Naw” was posted on Twitter by ℕ𝕚𝕔𝕙𝕠𝕝𝕒𝕤 ℝ𝕪𝕒𝕟 on June 27, 2020.

“I keep searching for the YEE to my HAW But I’m only finding my HELL to the NAW” (written on a Texas-shaped cookie) was posted on Facebook by Texas is Life on February 14, 2021.
