“It’s not multiple personality disorder, it’s a theatre degree!” (also given as “I don’t have a multiple personality disorder. It’s a theater degree” and “No, I don’t have multiple personality disorder. It’s just a theater degree”) is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images.

“It’s not multiple personality disorder, it’s a theater degree!” was posted on Twitter by Andy Richardson on June 30, 2012. “It’s not multiple personality disorder, it’s a theatre degree!” (shown on an ecard by SOmeecards) was posted on Facebook by Chorley Theatre on August 2, 2014. The saying probably originated with the ecard.

“Post-traumatic stress disorder” has nothing to do with drama, but there’s a joke. “Those who graduate with a theater degree and can’t find work often suffer post dramatic stress disorder” was posted on Twitter by M❍n❍t❍ne❍fBill™ on March 21, 2017.
