"It's not failure. It's unfinished…

“It’s not failure. It’s unfinished success” is a motivational saying that has been printed on many images. The saying was posted on Twitter by Ralph Marston (“The Daily Motivator”) on September 5, 2010.

“Treating diabetic nephropathy: unfinished success is not failure” is a paper that was published in the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology in 2007, but the saying was not popular at this time. Joubert Botha has been credited with the saying on Twitter since April 10, 2014, but he did not coin it or popularize it.
