A grammar hill that I’m always willing to die on is that the past tense of “snow” should be widely accepted as “snew”
blow -> blew
know -> knew
grow -> grew
snow -> snowed ?!

“Snew” is, indeed, a historically attested past tense form of the verb “snow”. There is a reason why it appeared in the past, and why it seems to be on the tip of our tongues today: It fits perfectly with existing verbs like grow–grew and know–knew.
