“Is that coffee I smell?”/“It is, and you do.”
A coffee joke has been printed on an image, and this form was printed in Radio Life on February 23, 1947:
Husband (coming down the stairs): Dear, is that coffee I smell?
Wife: It is…and you do!
The answer means: (1) it is coffee and (2) you do smell. Authorship of the joke is uncertain, but it has been cited in print since at least 1946, when it was said by American comedian, actress, singer, and radio personality Judy Canova (1913-1983).
