“I’ll control my guns. You control your kids”

“I’ll control my guns. You control your kids” is a pro-Second Amendment saying that has been printed on many images. “Seen a sign today that said ‘You control your kids, I’ll control my guns’. Yeah man, a gut shot’ll learn the brats not to yell in the store” was posted on Twitter on December 3, 2015.

A controversial shirt design containing this saying—with a picture of an AR-style rifle—was sold in March 2018 by Warrior 12.

Considering all the school shootings in this country, leaving dead kids from 6 yrs old to teens, wearing a shirt that states: “I’ll control my guns, you control your kids” with an image of an AR-style weapon, is in poor taste, if nothing else. With open carry, it is intimidating.
