“If you don’t like my Brooklyn attitude, quit talking to me”

“If you don’t like my Brooklyn attitude, quit talking to me” is a jocular Brooklyn saying that has been printed on T-shirts. “A T-shirt that read, ‘If you don’t like my Brooklyn attitude, don’t talk to me!’” was printed in the New York (NY) Times in 1997. “His white T-shirt’s logo read, ‘If you don’t like my Brooklyn attitude quit talking to me’” was printed in a 2003 Florida newspaper.
