“If you aren’t making waves, you aren’t kicking hard enough” (“If you ain’t makin’ waves, you ain’t kickin’ hard enough”) is a motivational saying that has been printed on many images. “If you ain’t making waves, you ain’t kicking hard enough” was posted on the newsgroup misc.handicap on June 8, 1993. “If you are not making waves, you are not kicking hard enough” was printed in the Boston (MA) Sunday Globe on January 25, 1998.
