“If 10% is enough for God, it’s enough for the IRS”
There are several Bible verses about giving to God, usually interpreted as giving 10%. A popular bumper sticker about the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is:
“If 10% is enough for God, it’s enough for the IRS.”
“If 10 percent is good enough for God, shouldn’t it should be enough for the IRS?!” was cited in a book published in 2000. Authorship of the one-line saying is unknown.

Just saw this bumper sticker: “If 10% is enough for God, it’s enough for the IRS.”
I’d sign up for that plan. ☑️

As I was unfortunately driving on my scooter in a near hurricane, I saw a bumper sticker that read “If 10% is enough for god, it’s enough for the IRS”. While I admire his passion to limit the distinction between church and state, however I did have a problem with his overall logic. Contrary to popular opinion, the IRS is not to blame for how much money you pay in taxes every year.
