“If you eat ice cream out of a coffee cup, it has no calories”

Ice cream is ususally eaten out of a bowl, but is sometimes eaten out of a coffee cup/mug. The advantages are that the coffee cup/mug has a handle, and melted ice cream can be consumed like a liquid. Sometimes a coffee cup/mug is chosen for ice cream because there are no available clean bowls.

Yes, my whole family does this. Eating ice cream from bowls is so unsatisfying. Honestly though, mugs should just replace bowls altogether.

If you don’t eat ice cream out of a coffee mug, you’re doing it wrong. Perfect serving size and a handy dandy mug handle for reduced grip slippage and hand freezage. (Also great for rice or small pastas, soups, etc. bigger mugs work for cereal)
