Wikipedia: The Chicago Manual of Style
The Chicago Manual of Style (abbreviated in writing as CMOS or CMS, or sometimes as Chicago) is a style guide for American English published since 1906 by the University of Chicago Press. Its 17 editions have prescribed writing and citation styles widely used in publishing. It is “one of the most widely used and respected style guides in the United States”.
Wikipedia: MLA Handbook
MLA Handbook (9th ed., 2021), formerly MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (1977–2009), establishes a system for documenting sources in scholarly writing. It is published by the Modern Language Association, which is based in the United States. According to the organization, their MLA style “has been widely adopted for classroom instruction and used worldwide by scholars, journal publishers, and academic and commercial presses”.
Wikipedia: Chicago-style hot dog
A Chicago-style hot dog, Chicago Dog, or Chicago Red Hot is an all-beef frankfurter on a poppy seed bun, originating from the city of Chicago, Illinois. The hot dog is topped with yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices or wedges, pickled sport peppers (a variety of Capsicum annuum), and a dash of celery salt.
Wikipedia: Chicago-style pizza
Chicago-style pizza is pizza prepared according to several different styles developed in Chicago, widely referred to simply as deep dish pizza due to its cooking style. The pan in which it is baked gives the pizza its characteristically high edge which provides ample space for large amounts of cheese and a chunky tomato sauce.

I presume the MLA Style Hot Dog has in-bun condiments instead of the Chicago Style and the MLA Style Hot Dog is less formal in introducing itself with a title page, and perhaps that’s why it remains unknown to so many in the humanities.
