“I come from a family of failed magicians. I’ve got two half-sisters”
Many magicians have performed the “sawing a woman in half” trick. A joke was posted on Twitter by Fresh Stand Up on May 23, 2014:
“I belong to a family of failed magicians…I’ve got two half-sisters http://bit.ly/RjAbKM via @sickipedia”
The joke originated on the Sickipedia website. English comedian Milton Jones used the joke in March 2015, but it doesn’t appear that he said it first.
Wikipedia: Sawing a woman in half
Sawing a woman in half is a generic name for a number of stage magic tricks in which a person (traditionally a female assistant) is apparently sawn or divided into two or more pieces.

Similarly, Milton Jones once took it upon himself to construct an entire narrative for one stand-up show around one-liners. The result demonstrated the importance of lateral thinking and the use – and misuse – of language.
