“I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy”
“I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy” is a pro-gun slogan that has been printed on many gift items, such as bumper stickers, T-shirts and posters. The saying has been cited in print since at least 2005.

“The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. The sword is more important than the shield and skill is more important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.” - John Steinbeck
1. Don’t pick a fight with an old man. If he’s too old to fight, he’ll just
kill you.
2. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
3. I carry a gun ‘cause a cop is too heavy.

Why Do I Carry A Gun?

When someone asks me why I carry a gun, I reply:
- Because it is my right.
- For self defense.
- Why aren’t you carrying?
- Because when seconds count, the police are just minutes away.
- Do you see a cop close enough by to save your life in the next 5
seconds?
- Because a cop won’t fit in my waistband.
- Because a cop is too heavy.
