“I went into my local print shop this afternoon and said, ‘I need a 6-foot A, a 6-foot S, and a 6-foot K, and I need them by tomorrow…’”

A “big ask” is a big request made of someone—a “big favor” to do a big, important job. This doesn’t mean literally that the letters A-S-K are printed large, but there are several forms of this joke. This was posted on Facebook by Gayna Cooper on January 12, 2017:
   
I went into my local printers today and said, “I need a 6 foot A, a 6 foot S and a 6 foot K, and I need them by tomorrow”.
