A pun on the word “stew” is used in this rabbit stew riddle:
 
Q: How do you make a rabbit stew?
A: Make it wait for three hours.
 
The riddle was posted on the newsgroup alt.support.autism on April 14, 2001 and is often grouped with Easter bunny jokes.
 
“If you want to have rabbit stew, first catch the rabbit” is another saying about making rabbit stew.
