Honkwiching (honk + sandwich + -ing)

Some old cartoons showed musicians eating by putting food in a horn instrument and blowing it to another person. This was posted on X/Twitter by Dee on April 17, 2017, and it received over 3,400 likes:
 
“It’s kinda fucked that musicians eat sandwiches by placing them inside trombones and honking them into each other’s mouths.”
 
A response was posted on Tumblr by posting-disliker (“skirtsuit-angel” is often credited instead) on July 7, 2017:
 
“this is an example of defamiliarization, where something totally normal, conventional, and ordinary - like honkwiching - is taken and described as something that sounds weird and foreign.”
 
“Honkwiching” (honk + sandwich + -ing) is a totally made-up nonsense term, but it was entered in the Urban Dictionary on November 19, 2017.
