A “hoaxiversary” (hoax + anniversary) is the annual remembrance of a hoax or a false flag, which some believe include the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting of December 14, 2012. “Happy 7 month hoaxiversary everyone! Smile! One day closer to the truth” was cited on Twitter on January 25, 2010.
