“Half a pound of bacon please.”/“Lean back, sir?” (joke)

Some people go to the butcher and order “lean back” bacon.  A joke was posted on the newsgroup alt.life.universe.everything on March 28, 1997:
 
Man goes into the Butchers, “Half a pound of bacon please”.
Butcher: “Lean back sir?”
[fx: man leans back] “Half a pound of bacon please”.
   
“Can I have half a pound of bacon, please.”/“Danish?” is a similar joke.
