Gunverment or Gunvernment (gun + government)

“Gunverment” or “gunvernment” (gun + government) refers to a totalitarian government that rules by force (as if from the barrel of a gun). “GUNverment” has been cited in print since at least 1996. “Gunvernment” was used frequently on the libertarian LewRockwell.com blog since February 2009.

Rule by GUNverment?

Guns have been dispossessed, especially in this century, of their legitimacy as a tool of government, as even the merest review of history demonstrates.

That’s funny, Manuel, because the site says that it is “your” (i.e., my money) at work–yet I don’t recall voluntarily giving any money to Obamanable to put my money to work. This is one of the “new” gunvernment initiatives that Obamanable & Co. are doing to emulate a corporation. The idea is for the gunvernment to have more “transparency” to us, the “investors.”

So long as the U.S. Gunvernment continues to implement all of the inflationary/boondoggle spending polices they are currently doing and/or planning, this country will be in a very long-term slump until real (i.e., Austrian) economics is allowed to take hold. Peter is the only one who is bullish in the “long-term” only if our current gunverment-created crisis is allowed to run its natural liquidation/clearing-the-market course–rather than Obamanable & Co. making it even worse.

Why do you suppose the gunvernment issued a decree requiring that all new cars have these send and receive-capable black boxes? Do you suppose it is a coincidence that the insurance mafia – the “private” half of the gunvernment-corporate conglomerate – has been pushing hard for in-car monitoring capability?
