It is an old adage that golf is a game of a lifetime. The phrase means people can enjoy golf at any point in their lives, unlike opther sports where traits like strength and endurance and even youth are required. There are no 50-years-olds in the National Football league, and no 15-year-olds in the National Basketball Association. But people in their teens and in their 50s can certainly enjoy golf.
