For all u theatre people, a rush = speedthru. A pass = going up on lines. Touchdown = NYTimes rave. The more u know. #RodneyTweetsTheBowl

Going up is when you’ve got a line and it’s not there

You wanna know something funny? I didn’t have theatre related nightmares about going up on my lines, or messing up on stage until *after* I was cast for this show. lol
Like this hasn’t happened since 2015.
A 5 year streak is pretty decent. haha
lol.
Also.

thinking about how my mom was a dresser at a dinner theatre in 80s houston and was yvonne de carlo’s Girl basically while she was playing mama rose but. yvonne kept going up on her lines and showing up buzzed at rehearsal and so it was my mom’s job to tell her they’d replaced her

I feel for the first speaker shown.  She either has stage freight or is experiencing “a senior moment.”  Anyone who’s ever acted, even in a high school pay, knows the feeling of ‘going up’ on your lines.
