GROW: Outreach Teams That Win
GROW was designed to be a fun outreach ministry that your church looks forward to! “GROW” is an acronym for “God Rewards Our Work.” GROW works to cultivate commitment among those who are willing to be involved in outreach once a month. As involvement increases, commitment grows.
With different levels of participation, GROW involves more of your church members in outreach.

When I see a need, I feel God wooing me toward that need,” said Sandra Peel, 70, of Slocomb. As a result, Peel through the years has served as Sunday School superintendent, Vacation Bible School director and nursery coordinator. When it became apparent in 1988 that a children’s church was needed, she started one and led it for 20 years. Right now she is the GROW (“God Rewards Our Work”) outreach leader, which she has done since 2003, Operation Christmas Child coordinator and a Sunday School teacher with 35 years to her credit.

What is G.R.O.W? (2015—ed.)
“G.R.O.W” stands for “God Rewards Our Work”. It describes the approach to reaching out for Jesus Christ that we use here at Crossroads! Before Jesus returned to heaven after His resurrection from the dead, He left His followers with a command to, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20)
