“Giant Meteor—Just end it already” (jocular presidential slogan)
“Giant Meteor—Just end it already” is a jocular political slogan that has been printed on many images. “Giant Meteor 2016: Just end it already” was posted on Twitter by Daniel T. Foster on May 5, 2016. “Giant Meteor 2020 Just End It Already!” was posted on Twitter by Leftics on August 18, 2016.
“The story behind the election’s best bumper sticker” by Beth Teitell, in the Boston (MA) Globe on June 16, 2016, credited the idea to Preston Whited, a production planner at a kayak-paddle company north of Seattle. Tennessee software engineer Ben Stucki sold the bumper stickers.

31 May 2016, The News Herald (Panama City, FL), “Extinction suddenly doesn’t sound so bad” by Kent Bush, pg. ?:
Considering both of these candidates are meteors, they have a very different take on life—specifically from which side of the aisle they will end all life on earth.
Sweet Meteor O’Death’s Twitter bio say he calls himself a “Candidate for President, Precambrian Conservative, Ready to Make an Impact, Tough on Putin and Iran, I’ll probably destroy all Earthly life.” (I don’t know why I used a male pronoun. It wasn’t paternalism. It just seems like ending all life on earth is more of a male trait.)
Giant Meteor 2016 calls himself a “Giant flaming meteor, extinction level event, 2016 presidential candidate, probably your best option.” Giant Meteor’s main slogan is “Just end it already.”

“Giant Meteor 2016,” the decal reads, “Just End it Already.”

(Tennessee software engineer Ben—ed.) Stucki says he was the first one selling the sticker on Amazon, but despite that credential, in an interview Stucki emphasized that he was not the person who came up with the idea. For a while he didn’t even know who did create it—he’d merely seen the image on Facebook.
But then, a customer e-mailed with a revelation:
“I’ve been following the evolution of this meme since I posted the original version of it on my personal facebook page [on April 20],” a man named Preston Whited e-mailed Stucki. “I created it in a few minutes by modifying a Bernie Sanders sticker in Excel.

Recently, bumper stickers and T-shirts began showing up around the country with a logo not for Hillary Clinton or Donald J. Trump but for a long-shot campaign: “Giant Meteor 2016: Just End It Already.”
The graphic, by Preston Whited, a production planner at a kayak-paddle company north of Seattle, was a lark that grew out of a Facebook chat among Mr. Whited and his friends. “We have a pretty dark sense of humor,” he said in a phone interview. “We came up with it, and I just took a Bernie ad and redid it on Excel and put it out there.”
