“George Washington is the only president who didn’t blame the previous administration”
Presidents often blame the previous administration for current failures. In 2009, U.S. President Barack Obama was criticized for frequent “blame Bush” (George W. Bush, the previous president) speeches.
George Washington was the first president of the United States. The saying “George Washington is the only president/man who didn’t blame the previous administration for all his troubles/problems” appears in a 1968 joke book by comedian Joey Adams.
