“Frankly, Scallop, i don’t give a clam”

“Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn” is the famous final line in the movie Gone with the Wind (1939) that Rhett Butler said to Scarlett O’Hara. “Frankly Scallop, I don;t give a clam” is a T-shirt and bumper sticker saying that has been popular at coastal cities and seafood restaurants. “Frankly, scallop, I don’t give a clam” has been cited in print since at least 1984.

Just saw a sign at a seafood restaurant that says “frankly, scallop, I don’t give a clam” and I shouldn’t be laughing this hard but I am.
