Wikipedia: Fox News Channel
Fox News Channel (FNC), commonly referred to as Fox or Fox News, is a cable and satellite news channel owned by the Fox Entertainment Group, a subsidiary of News Corporation. As of April 2009, it is available to 102 million households in the United States and further to viewers internationally, broadcasting primarily out of its New York City studios.
The channel was created by Australian-American media mogul Rupert Murdoch, who hired Roger Ailes as its founding CEO. The channel was launched on October 7, 1996 to 17 million cable subscribers. The network slowly rose to prominence in the late 1990s. In terms of regular viewers (Nielsen ratings), Fox News rates as the United States’ most watched cable news network, ahead of CNN and MSNBC.
Many observers have asserted that both Fox’s news reporting and its political commentary promote conservative political positions. Fox News Channel denies any bias in its news reporting and maintains that its political commentary and news reporting operate independently of each other.

Accusations of conservative bias
Many critics and politicians have accused FNC of having a bias towards the political right at the expense of neutrality. Murdoch and Ailes have reacted against allegations of bias, with Murdoch saying that Fox has “given room to both sides, whereas only one side had it before.” In 2004, director Robert Greenwald produced the documentary film Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism, which argues that Fox News has a conservative bias, including as evidence internal memos from editorial Vice President John Moody which the film uses to demonstrate Fox’s attempts to alter news content.
A Pew Research poll, released on October 29, 2009, found that Fox News is viewed as the most ideological network in America. The poll, which featured Americans view of various news networks by ideology, scored Fox News the highest of any category with (47%) as “mostly conservative,” (14%) as “mostly liberal,” and (24%) as “neither.”[48] In comparison, MSNBC had (36%) identify it as “mostly liberal,” (11%) as “mostly conservative,” and (27%) as “neither.” CNN had (37%) describe it as “mostly liberal,” (11%) as “mostly conservative,” and (33%) as “neither.”

Fixed News
An alternate word to describe the Fox “News” channel, signifying both the extreme right-wing bias of the network and the lack of credence in considering it a news network.

I find it an insult to say that Fred Thompson is gay…I’m gay and we don’t want the fat, frightful bass-TURD. Normally outing someone as gay is a compliment if true, but in this case we don’t want him. Is that why he is so INTO Scooter Libby?
p.s. Perv–er–Merv Grifffin is a bigger girl than Mary Cheney–which ain’t saying much. But that closet-queen is now got his nose so far up Fixed News’ ass that it makes me ill.

Something I read today stated that the cnservative base is asking Right wing pundits like Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly or anyone on Fox noise…I mean fixed news…I mean well you get it to stop bshing Hillary. They are saying the conservative base sees Hillary as easier to beat than any other Democrat so they are hoping she wins the nomination.
I think this is absurd and this plan showcases how dillusional the Right really is.

Keith is my hero. He has common sense. I’m very happy to watch somebody with intelligence who can make me laugh about the news. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert do not count as real news anchors. They sure as hell should be compared to the clowns on fixed news.
