Farmer John Cheese (parmesan cheese)

“Parmesan” cheese is sometimes called “Farmer John” cheese by children. “Farmer John cheese” has been cited in print since at least 1998.

Wikipedia: Parmigiano-Reggiano
Parmigiano-Reggiano or Parmesan (/ˌpɑːrmɪˈdʒɑːnoʊ rɛˈdʒɑːnoʊ/, Italian: [parmiˈdʒaːno redˈdʒaːno]) is an Italian hard, granular cheese that is produced from cow’s milk and has aged 12–36 months.

Parmigiano-Reggiano
It is named after the producing areas, the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, the part of Bologna west of the Reno, and Modena (all in Emilia-Romagna); and the part of Mantua (Lombardy) south of the Po. Parmigiano is the Italian adjective for Parma and Reggiano that for Reggio Emilia.

20 December 2003, The Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN), “When kids talk about food, it’s in good taste” by Jon W. Sparks, pg. E1:
Dana Cooper cooked this one up: “My two children, Mason, 6, and Bitsy, 4, are cheese addicts. They may not always know what type of cheese it is, they just know they love it. When eating pasta or pizza they always ask for the ‘Farmer John cheese please,’ meaning Parmesan cheese.”
