In the film The Karate Kid (1984), the instructor Mr. Miyagi has student Daniel do tasks such as paint his fence and wax his car. Later, it’s revealed that this builds muscles for karate. This joke about curling was posted on X/Twitter by mark on February 11, 2018, and it received over 1,800 likes:

Rewatched Karate Kid and had forgotten the part where Mr. Miyagi invents a game called “curling” to get Daniel to clean his floors.
