Businessman and investor Elon Musk announced in 2024 his intention of moving his companies X (formerly called Twitter) and SpaceX to Texas. “Excuse me— both X and SpaceX are moving to Texas and not ONE JOURNALIST went with the headline ‘All My Xes Live In Texas?’” is a joke that has been printed on many images. “All My Ex’s Live in Texas” is a popular 1987 song that was recorded by American country music singer George Strait.
The joke was thought of before Elon Musk announced the moves. “He’s gonna put Twitter HQ inside the SpaceX offices just so he can tweet ‘all my Xes live in Texas’ isn’t he” was posted on X/Twitter by Yell in a War on July 23, 2023. “Elon is gonna move the headquarters of both Twitter and SpaceX to Austin just so he can put on a cowboy hat and tweet at 3 AM ‘All my Xs live in Texas 🤠’” was posted on X/Twitter by Michael Hulet (parody) on July 24, 2023.

SpaceX & X are both fleeing Gavin Newsom’s dumpster fire in California and relocating to Texas. The freedom loving and business friendly state with no state income tax is already home to Tesla’s HQ. Don’t fade Elon!
