Boozeday Tuesday

“Boozeday Tuesday” is a drinking slang name for a day of the week. The term is usually simply “Boozeday” and it could occur on any day of the week, but it’s usually held on Tuesday. “Boozeday has been cited in print since at least 1968 and then 1988, when it was printed in a bar ad.
 
The term “Boozeday” was popularized on television’s Today show in 2010 by hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.
 
Other slang names for days of the week include Shunday, Sober Sunday, Margarita Monday, Messed-up Monday, Mojito Monday, Moonshine Monday, Taco Tuesday, Tanked Tuesday, Tasty Tuesday, Tequila Tuesday, Tipsy Tuesday, Trashed Tuesday, Twisted Tuesday, Wasted Wednesday, Whiskey Wednesday, Wiener Wednesday,Wine Wednesday, Winesday Wednesday, Wing Wednesday, Thirsday, Thirstday, Thirsty Thursday, Fajita Friday, Fucked-up Friday, Shit-faced Saturday, Sloppy Saturday, Sloshed Saturday and Smashed Saturday.
