There are social media “influencers,” and there is also the neighborhood “binfluencer” (bin + influencer). “Wheelie bin” is a UK term for what Americans call the “garbage can” or “trash recepticle.” A “binfluencer” puts the bins out first for “Bin Day,” influencing the neighbors to also put their bins out. The “binfluencer” is especially helpful around the holidays of Christmas and New Year’s, when pickup dates often change.
