Beer Can Concealer
The “beer can concealer” is a product introduced in 2013 by HideMyBeer.com. A can of beer can be slipped into the outer covering of a can of soda; this tricks others in areas where drinking beer is prohibited.
The Huffington Post, on June 19, 2013, stated in its headline, “Beer Can Concealer Hides Your Drink, Is A Terrible Idea.” The blog pleaded, “we have to insist that you not do this. Get some koozies like normal people. Drink in the backyard or at an outdoor bar like you’re supposed to.”

Alright guys, we have to have a serious talk. You know that we love beer. You know that we love to drink beer outside. But we live in a country where there are rules about those two things, and while we do not always follow all the rules, we really have to insist that you not buy this beer can concealer for yourself.
Just how bad an idea is the beer can concealer? In order to buy this modified soda can, which slips over the outside of another can, you have to agree that “you as the buyer will assume all and any liability and responsibility that may arise from the use of this product, financial or otherwise.”

Without even considering how silly it is to spend $4 on an empty soda can, we have to insist that you not do this. Get some koozies like normal people. Drink in the backyard or at an outdoor bar like you’re supposed to. If you want to walk around on the street with a beer, go to London.

How To Drink Cans Of Craft Beer In Public. Not That We Endorse This.
Fake Coca-Cola can disguises your quality beer
By George Embiricos
Have you always looked for a way to discretely enjoy a couple cold ones on the train? Are you tired of being slapped with those pesky “citations” for drinking in public? (Note: We’re not speaking from personal experience, of course). We have found a solution that might actually work.
From our friends at Fancy comes the beer can concealer, a cover that is custom fabricated from an authentic Coca-Cola can and modified to hide 12-ounce beers. A simple slip-on transforms your favorite canned IPA into an unsuspicious can of Coke, sure to draw the stink-eye from no one (except, perhaps, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is out to rid the world of sugary beverages). Cheesy? Yes. Genius? Maybe.
