Beefullness (beef + fullness)
McDonald’s fast food restaurants in South Africa invented the name “beefullness” (beef + fullness) in 2013. “It’s that feeling of pure contentment as you take the last bite of a McDonald’s® 100% beef burger and all is right with the world,” McDonald’s explains.
The new term (not trademarked in the United States) has had a negative reception from some. A message on Twitter on June 13, 2013 read:
“They have an ad here in South Africa that says “Taste the beefullness.” For realsies? Beefullness? No. Just no.”
