Last year I drove the 250 miles from where I live in Philly to Altoona, PA to try the infamous Altoona-style pizza from 📍29th Street Pizza and Subs.
What we choose to preserve says more about us than what we’re preserving, and I think the family preserving this pizza is holding onto the history of their little city — and there’s beauty in that.
