“A default sans-serif font walks into a bar…” (bar joke)
“A guy walks into a bar…” is a typical form of what has been called the “bar joke.” A popular form of the joke is:
“Two fonts walk into a bar. The barman says to them, ‘Get out. We don’t serve your type here.’”
The joke has been cited in print since at least December 2000, when it was credited to Lorraine Bellis. “A default sans-serif font” is a frequently told form of the joke.

That reminds me. Two fonts walk into a bar and ask for a drink, the barman refuses to serve them, ‘Why?’ asks one of the fonts, the barman replies ‘Because we don’t serve your type in here’
