Who: Honorary Chair Ivanka Trump will kick off Miracle at the opening ceremony at noon with other VIPs.

What: The Children's Aid Society’s Miracle on Madison Avenue, presented by The Bank of New York Mellon, is the annual charity shopping event that brings together leading luxury retailers, restaurants and galleries on Madison Avenue in support of New York’s children in need. This year marks the 22nd anniversary of Miracle, a true New York City tradition.
On December 7th, approximately 100 participating establishments on Madison Avenue will donate 20 percent of the day’s sales to The Children’s Aid Society’s health care programs. Ivanka Trump Collection, Ms. Trump’s boutique at 683A Madison Avenue, will lead the way.

NEW YORK -- To make room for shoppers and to support children's charities, Madison Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from 55th to 79th Streets on Sunday between noon and 5 p.m.

During that time, 165 stores, including Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Barneys New York, Nicole Miller, Gianni Versace and Victoria's Secret, will donate 20 percent of each of their sales to Partnership with Children, The Children's Aid Society, Lenox Hill Neighborhood House and Women in Need -- Care for Homeless Women and Children.

The event, called Miracle on Madison Avenue, has raised $3.2 million since it began in 1987.

MADISON AVENUE GIVES: This Sunday marks the 17th annual Miracle on Madison Avenue event, where 150 Madison Avenue-based retailers, restaurants and galleries donate 20 percent of the day's sales to The Children's Aid Society, a health-care program that serves New York's neediest children and families. Giorgio Armani, Borghese, DKNY, Ralph Lauren, Prada, Hermes and David Yurman are expected to participate. The event kicks off at noon with a ribbon cutting by designer Liz Lange at 69th Street and Madison Avenue, and follows with entertainment at various tents between 57th and 86th Streets, until 5 p.m.

BARGAIN BOULEVARD Sunday, the 18th Annual Miracle on Madison Avenue Benefit Event takes over the fashion freeway from 57th-86th Sts., and 20% of every purchase you make at any of the 125+ participating retailers will be donated to the Children's Aid Society. Participants include Bulgari, Calvin Klein, Cartier, Clarins Treatment Boutique, Furla, Jimmy Choo, Luca Luca, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Zitomer and more. Restaurants will provide samplings of signature items in the Taste of Madison Avenue tent at 67th St., the Spa tent at 72nd St. will offer luxury treatments, and complimentary gift-wrapping is available at the Bank of New York branch at 706 Madison Ave.
