“Exercise changes the outside. Running changes the inside”

"Exercise changes the outside. Running changes the inside” is a motivational saying that has been printed on posters. The website Our Sole Intent promoted the saying on September 10, 2013.

running changes the inside

Exercise changes the outside. Running changes the inside.

It may begin with a craving to shed pounds. It often starts with a desire to be more desirable.  Exercise usually looks at the outside….how to lose weight, gain muscle, tone up, BMI down. You start. You stop. You switch it up.  Spinning, crossfit, p90x, step….  You get bored. Take a break.  Try something new. “Hmmmm….maybe running would be good?” “It is the most effective exercise activity to burn calories, according to the MayoClinic.com.” There is no gym. No membership card. Just you and the open road. Simple.

transformation tuesday. i wanna talk about the INSIDE. yeah..i quit smoking, eat better, wake-up-to-run at 4am instead of going-to-bed at 4am. but what has really changed about me is the INSIDE. i guess it is all part of the puzzle of me….
