“One of the greatest sources of energy is pride in what we are doing”

“One of the greatest sources of energy is pride in what you are doing” is a popular saying that’s usually given incorrect authorship. “One of the greatest sources of energy is pride in what we are doing” was cited in print in 1967, when it was credited to insurance author A. (Albert) N. Beardshear. “One of the greatest sources of energy is pride in what you are doing” was credited to Spokes magazine in 1981. The Spokes credit is usually given, but Beardshear had used the saying 14 years earlier.
