“You wanna pizza me?”

"You wanna pizza me?” (a pizza version of “Do you want a piece of me?”—that is, the start of an argument or a fight) is a jocular saying that has been printed on many GIFs. “You wanna pizza me?” was posted to the newsgroup alt.humor.puns on December 17, 1998.

A joke extension of the saying was posted on Twitter on December 21, 2010:

“This man was about to throw dough, cheese and tomatoes at me. I said, ‘You wanna pizza me?’”

Go to your kitchens — and come out fighting!

Last year, newfangled Neapolitan pie purveyor Keste thumbed its nose at New York-style pizza by boldly setting up shop across the street from John’s, which has been turning out coal-fired pies on Bleecker Street since 1929.
