“USAtheist” (USA + atheist) has been printed on many gift items (such as T-shirts and bumper stickers) and usually stands for people in the United States of America (USA) who are atheists. “USAtheist, the United States of Atheism” was cited in print in 2008.
 
In 2014, “USAtheist” was used to describe someone who doesn’t support the government of the United States. The following was on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, starring Jon Stewart, on April 23, 2014:
 
CLIVEN BUNDY: I don’t recognize the United States government as even existing.
JON STEWART: He doesn’t recognize America’s existence! He’s a USAtheist.
