"There are so many scams on the Internet now-a-days. Send me $19.95 and I will tell you how to avoid them” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images. “There’s no shortage of scammy get rich quick schemes on the web these days, send me just £5 and I’ll tell you how to avoid them” was posted on Twitter on July 30, 2011.

The saying went viral in 2012. “There are so so many scams on the Internet! Send me $19.95 and I will tell you how to avoid them! Don’t get conned out of your money!!” was posted on Twitter on January 28, 2012.
