Patio Beer

A “patio beer” is a beer that can be enjoyed by friends on an outdoor summer patio. A patio beer is not necessarily the most expensive of beers, but one that can be consumed over several glasses. “A good outdoor patio beer with grilled shrimp” was cited in the book The Beer Lover’s Rating Guide (2000).

A “patio pounder” is a similar name for a wine.

Three taps are installed inside the container, featuring a rotating selection of two Anchor Steam brews as well as one tap devoted to Pilsner. Coined “patio beers,” the three will be offered at $4 each, less than many of the pricier local craft brews offered inside.
