Panda Paws (ice cream)

Perry’s Ice Cream (located in Akron, New York) makes “Panda Paws” ice cream—vanilla ice cream with mini peanut butter cups and swirls of thick, rich fudge. The peanut butter cups are shaped like a panda’s paw. “Panda Paws” is trademarked with a date of first use from April 1, 1999.

The ice cream concept behind “Panda Paws” is similar to Alaska’s “Moose Tracks” ice cream. Also similar is “Adirondack Bear Paw”/“Adirondack Black Bear.”

Perry’s Ice Cream
Perry’s Ice Cream, is an ice cream manufacturer located in Akron, New York.

Perry’s, founded in 1918 by H. Morton Perry, is a family-owned and operated fourth generation ice cream manufacturer with frozen distribution services. Perry’s started from hand cranks and horse-drawn delivery wagons and grew into a modern, state-of-the-art ice cream production facility. Currently Perry’s Ice Cream produces over 13 million gallons of ice cream per year. Perry’s still produces their ice cream one batch at a time, giving the product its unique, old-fashioned flavor. Perry’s Ice Cream tradition centers around having “enough good stuff in the product.” [1] With over 285 employees, Perry’s sells and distributes to New York, Western Pennsylvania, New England and Northeast Ohio.

Perry’s Ice Cream (upstate NY) has a killer flavor called Panda Paws. Soft chocolate fudge chunks in vanilla ice cream. Great stuff.
I noticed that Edy’s now has a mimic flavor called “Fudge Tracks”.

Had an urge so I stopped at the local deli and picked up a half gallon of what I thought was gonna be some non descript no-name ice cream, Perry’s. I chose a flavor I’d never heard of before, “Panda Paws” (vanilla ice cream with peanut butter cup pieces and swirls of thick rich fudge). OMYGAWD!!! I can’t stop eating… this has got to be the best tasting richest ice cream on the planet, and the chocolate… humongous *chunky* swirls of the deepest richest orgasmic chocolate, unBelieveably Good! So I looked to see if there’s a website and sure enough… yoose got to check out the list of flavors… geeze, I can’t wait to try them all. This is a local ice cream company, maybe I’ll check out their plant.

Absolutelly Amature Product Review: Perry’s Ice Cream Panda Paws

Panda Paws really surprised me! The little chocolate paws with peanut butter inside and vanilla ice cream with fudge swirls work together really nicely! Naturally, I am not a sweet tooth (and with this job this is a real figure savior), but the balance of sweet and salty makes Panda Paws a treat for those of us who usually crave salt and vinegar flavored potato chips instead of cupcakes.
